In conjunction with the HEART Steering Committee and NSWC Crane, HEART 2024 presenters are invited to submit a written paper for publication in the Journal of Radiation Effects, Research and Engineering (JRERE) based on the work presented.
The JRERE, as a journal, is a vital tool for communicating recent progress in the field. Submissions are important for continuing the national impact and vibrancy of the HEART society. The JRERE is an important avenue for permanently sharing your technical research with an appropriately limited community in a refereed forum. 2025 JRERE due dates:
NOTE: Papers must be approved as CUI, not OUO
All known back issues of the unclassified Journal of Radiation Effects, Research and Engineering (JRERE) are now available on the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). You will first need to register for a DTIC account at https://reg.dtic.mil/DTICRegistration. Access to this site requires a valid DoD-recognized X.509 client certificate (DoD-issued CAC, PIV card, or ECA). If you don’t already have one of the above to register or encounter problems with the registration process, feel free to contact DTIC Operations Research Analyst Ryan Makinson at [email protected] for guidance. Below is a pamphlet describing the process of registering in more detail. Once you are properly registered with DTIC, check out the JRERE webpage on DTIC’s DoDTechnipedia site--https://www.dodtechipedia.mil/dodwiki/x/WwCJIQ.
