Security Procedure for Attending Classified Session

 Individual’s clearance must be CURRENT and ACTIVE. No Interim or Temporary Clearances by condition, deviation or waiver will be accepted.
Clearance receipt verifications may take a week to be sent out.
Any sent in Feb 19-Mar 3 confirmations will be sent around March 

Attendance at the HEART CLASSIFIED SESSIONS requires:

• DoD Final Secret w/CNWDI Brief -DoD Final Top Secret

  - OR -

• DOE Q security clearance

Restricted Data access is required for attendance.

To gain access to classified technical sessions,

• a DoD Visit Authorization Request (VAR)

• a DOE Form 5631

verifying clearance, must be submitted by each prospective attendee.

Note: SECNAV form requires Drivers License and SSN, it does NOT mention Passport.

2. DoD​ NPS ACCESS:

• Bring your Current/Active DoD CAC. If you do not have a CAC, you MUST submit a SECNAV 5512 with SSN AND Real ID Driver License #
• If you do not include TWO forms of ID, your form will be returned or rejected.

All DoD personnel and DoD contractors must have a DoD Final Secret w/CNWDI Brief or Final TS clearance to attend. Completion of the CNWDI brief must be noted in DISS/DCSA by your SSO prior to clearance submission.
All Clearances are verified prior to attendance.

• DOE without a DoD CAC MUST submit a SECNAV 5512 with SSN AND Real ID Driver License #. If you do not include SSN AND REAL ID# or Passport#, your form will be returned or rejected.

At classified meeting locations, ALL Electronic Devices are FORBIDDEN in defined security areas, meeting rooms and auditoriums. Briefcases, backpacks, large purses, note taking articles, and any other item considered by Security to be a possible prohibited item under DoD and/or DOE rules will not be allowed in the defined security area.
